rectangle-listRequirements

Before starting the on-boarding processes of Partners end-users, it is essential that the Partner platform is fully operational, either on the Partner's infrastructure or on the Invisible Bits cloud when offered as PaaS. This means that not only is the installation complete, but the availability, performance, security, and observability of the environment have also been validated end-to-end.

This is to avoid issues during end-customers onboarding phase (which would directly impact the perception of the service) and to ensure that the ingestion, processing, and enrichment, as well as the delivery of results, work from day one in accordance with the agreed service levels.

Minimum conditions to consider the Partner platform as fully operational

Checkpoint
Description

Core services active and verified

Ingestion/collectors, data processors, parsers, enrichment modules, AI framework, as well as detection engines, data lake, APIs, and front-end.

Cluster services

Stable: no critical alerts, no degraded replicas, no CPU, RAM, I/O, or network bottlenecks

Network connectivity

Internal and external ports open according to the approved matrix, reachability between nodes, MTUs and routes verified, latency within thresholds

Retention and capacity policies

Sizing according to expected volume (EPS/GB-day), watermarks, and scaling plans; storage with adequate performance and resilience

Platform acceptance criteria before starting with the first end-customer on-boarding process

#
Description

1

Administrative access verified, including two-factor authentication

2

Event ingestion verified on a test client (e.g., partner-owned devices)

3

Automatic use cases triggered and at least one expected alert on the test client

4

At least one dashboard showing metrics consistent with the test data

Once these requirements are met and verified, on-boarding processes can start. This approach drastically reduces operational risk, avoids friction and negative feelings when initiating customer relationships, and ensures a smooth and professional onboarding experience.
