Catalog

The Data Source Catalog allows integrations to be classified based on three key attributes:

• Vendor

• Product

• Tag

This classification simplifies integration management and enables the platform to enrich incoming events with contextual information about the vendor, product, and descriptive metadata. This enrichment is particularly valuable for KPI generation and reporting at later stages.

The Catalog is composed of Vendors and products.

• A Vendor can have an unlimited number of Products.

• Each Product can optionally have an associated tag, useful for distinguishing between different versions of the same product—such as product version, language, or any other relevant characteristic.

Vendors are classified into two types:

• Internal: These are predefined by the platform. They cannot be modified or deleted, and typically have an associated icon.

• Custom: These can be created, edited, and deleted by users, allowing full flexibility to define and manage additional vendors and their products as needed.

We continuously increase the products included in the catalog, but you can add as many vendors and products as you need to classify your own data sources clicking the "New source" button at the top-right of the screen:
