On-premises data sources

The platform supports two methods for integrating stream logs from data sources located within client networks:

1. Direct shipping from the data source to a Platform collector

2. Shipping via a Forwarder deployed within the client's network

Each method has its advantages and trade-offs. The choice depends on the specific characteristics of the project—such as infrastructure details, whether it’s a Proof of Concept (PoC) or a production deployment, the criticality of the assets involved, and the capabilities of the client’s IT or infrastructure team.
